Terms of service

Last updated: May 18, 2026

By using Smart Calendar you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose.

The service

Smart Calendar is a calendar tool that uses AI to turn natural language, voice notes, and screenshots into calendar events. We provide the service on a best-effort basis and improve it continuously.

Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Don't share credentials, don't use the service to break laws or harass others, and don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our APIs.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service. If we do, we'll tell you why and give you an export of your data unless legally barred from doing so.

Your content

Anything you put into Smart Calendar — events, attachments, notes — stays yours. You grant us only the limited rights needed to display, process, and back up that content as part of running the service.

AI-assisted features

The AI parser makes mistakes. Always double-check important events before relying on them. We aren't liable for missed meetings or incorrectly-parsed details, but we work hard to keep the model accurate and ship fixes when you flag issues.

Pricing and changes

Free tier is free. If we introduce paid plans we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any new charge, and grandfather existing free usage where reasonable.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months (which, on the free tier, is zero).
